Club Veg is an all-volunteer science-based non-profit organization that educates the public about the reasons for adopting a vegan lifestyle and how to do it.

We operate in the Southern Tier and Finger Lakes region of New York State, including the Binghamton, Elmira, and Ithaca areas. We were founded in 1995.

Over the last several years, our main focus has been our veganic initiative. We are now re-grouping post-pandemic and have a number of educational projects we are excited to work on, and plan to have events for the public again.

We seek volunteers who would enjoy planning events and educational initiatives in the Southern Tier region of New York State to be part of a “core group”. We also offer internships to interested students to get experience in all aspects of managing a non-profit. If you are interested in volunteering or an internship, please email clubveg@gmail.com

Sign up for our email list to get notifications of events and other important information.

More About Veganic Farming: Find out why this is the “missing link” for vegans. Both organic and conventional gardening can and usually do use animal products for fertility. This can include manure, and slaughterhouse by-products including bone, blood, feather, and fish meals. These are not needed as the fertility from these animal products comes from what they ate: plants. We can gain this fertility from plants directly.
